Provides leadership and direction in the management of the operations of the natural gas distribution system for a designated service area.
A Technician III has acquired and applied all necessary advanced skills and knowledge to assist the District Manager in maintaining the natural gas distribution system in their designated service area. Participates as a lead role model to encourage, develop, and support Level I and II Technicians. A Technician III contributes to the development and improvement of their area at the direction of the manager.
Responsible for strategic media relations; extensive writing and editing, including press releases, a variety of multi-platform content; event, marketing and sponsorship evaluation and management; thought leadership initiatives and a broad range of internal and external communications initiatives to support Summit’s brand.
A Technician I is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards while performing skilled work for a variety of operational duties relative to the assigned area of responsibility.
Applies principles of accounting to record financial information and create financial reports related to Summit Utilities, Inc. and subsidiaries’ activities and records.
Responsible for the implementation and coordination of all safety programs for the Maine service territories of Summit Utilities, Inc.
This position is responsible for providing dispatching duties for all Summit Utilities, Inc. (SUI) field locations and supporting customer care team with phone coverage.
The Construction Technician III (Foreman) provides labor and advanced skills; trains and directs assigned personnel in the installation and maintenance of natural gas distribution facilities, in accordance with Company O&M as well as local state and federal regulations.
