Lebanon, Missouri – Today, Summit Natural Gas of Missouri completed the installation of a new compressor at its Diggins Compressor Station. The new compressor will increase natural gas capacity to the Lebanon area by about 30 percent and provide greater reliability to the region.

“Our city council, state elected leaders and community have done a tremendous job of growing the economy and attracting businesses to Lebanon. With this new compressor, Summit will be able to increase natural gas capacity to the area and continue to be a partner in economic growth for the region,” said Phil Marcum, Summit’s Manager of Business Development.

Over the past five years, Summit has invested more than $14 million in the Lebanon area.

In addition to the compressor project, the company is working with the mayor and city council to research future growth opportunities.

“We are encouraged to see the completion of the compressor project in Lebanon and look forward to working with Summit on an ongoing basis to encourage economic growth and natural gas reliability in the city,” said Mayor Jared Carr.
